I have been thinking of you since hearing about this tragedy. Like others, I cannot find the words to put to the sadness….I will hold you in my prayers. ❤️‍🩹

I too will light 2 candles tonight and say your prayer in solidarity with you. With deep love and sorrow. Throwing my arms around you and our community in a big virtual hug. 🥰

Great to hear from you today. You have been in my thoughts, glad to hear you and your family are safe.

Through all of this you continue to write such poignant words.

I myself am lost for words when I think of the last couple of months you have had and yet you sound grounded and solid.

I acknowledge your courage, conviction, compassion and calmness.

Oh Jo - words can’t express how I feel today for your Jewish community and for all Australians who seek peace and a safe community.

I came here from South Africa 38 years ago with my 2 children to a new life where they could feel safe, believing this to be a bastion of western values and now I don’t see that anymore. I could have lost my 2 grand daughters on Bondi beach last night, only by the grace of God were they spared.

How can our government ever come back from this terrible tragedy- complicit as they are in its unfolding. I am shocked and overcome with grief for what has happened and for what Australia has become.

I will light 2 candles tonight and say your prayer in solidarity with you. God’s Blessings
